East Soar Farm

Today Dixon and I stopped off at East Soar Farm coffee shop. And we loved it. What a fab place! I had the most amazing chocolate cake with a big pot of tea and sat outside in the sun watching Dixon and Diasy (the farm puppy) roll and run around together in pure delight. The farm offers camping and holiday cottages as well as lots of other lovely activities. It's a dog/child/people friendly place and well worth a stop off. I'm already planning to have the cream tea on my next visit.

Rockfish Seafood and chips

Dartmouth has a new seafood and chips Takeaway and nearby restaurant which we can highly recommend.

Rockfish is owned by renowned Chef Mitch Tonks and is rather special, and a great treat if you get chance to visit.

They pride themselves on really fresh fish and the chips are lovely and crisp.

Clock Tower Tea Rooms

It's not often my mum and dad take me somewhere that makes me go WOW! But that's just what happened as they led me along the narrow pathway along the sea wall and then up the scariest flight of steps ever! all the time I'm thinking this had better be good and not a little shack selling ice cream! And then we walked through a walled garden into a little oasis high up on the cliff top over looking Jacobs ladder in Sidmouth. It was just beautiful, so tranquil (despite being packed) and then I saw the CAKES! a very very hard choice but I finally settled on a cherry tart. Had to take half of it home it was so big. Delicious! The whole experience was a real treat and totally unexpected. It's a place I will certainly re-visit often.
